In this movie the artist revisits the mythology of Aphrodite Anadyomene (Venus rising from the Sea) following in the footsteps both literally and metaphorically. Referring to classical allusions the movie moves on to the contemporary interpretations of Immanuel Velikovsky with his tracing of the birth of the planet Venus and its recent insertion into the Solar System.
