The greatest mystery in astronomy is the fact that the Sun is a perfect sphere, even though it rotates and should be oblate. This movie addresses this phenomena with reference to the seminal 1979 paper by Ralph Juergens, 'The photosphere, is it the top or bottom of the phenomenon we call the Sun'.
