This movie is an observation of a distant ship as it undergoes photonic transformation through the Earth's charge field. Captured in fading twilight, the ship hovers on the boundaries of what is capable with my camera. Zoomed at 50x and held on a cheap tripod in high winds, the footage is spliced and stacked to average out the random movements.
The location is off the coast of Somerset where, in 1798, Coleridge wrote the Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner. The music is composed synthetically using sampled sound.
