A two layer perspex linear sandwich held in a 'U' shaped aluminium bar held 1cm away from the wall by spacers. Layers 1 and 2 are painted with black spirit dye brush strokes. The marks are arranged in and out of phase as if they are visual representations of sound.
The visual interference of the piece recalls the synaptic syncopations of an environmental sound.
