'Mackerel Scintillation 01'. Still from movie. 2021. 02:20

Sourced from a night view of the Moon through a mackerel cloud layer this movie concentrates on the scintillation of the night sky itself.
Exploring the 'signal to noise' mismatch of the two elements I am extracting an enhancement of this 'noise of the sky' into corpuscles of colour.
The Moon becomes a brilliant undefined object as it orbits through the field of scintillation.
